THE CHALLENGE:

The owner wanted to be located in a free standing restaurant with a drive thru window at the site of an existing service station. If the building was demolished, the site was too small for redevelopment. (New development restrictions limited the ability to demolish and rebuild stating the site was too small.) Other developers had tried unsuccessfully to redevelop this site for similar uses.

THE IDEA:

OliverSperry Renovation provided the design and construction to reconfigure the site for a drive-thru restaurant. The existing structure was preserved and renovated inside and out to accommodate for the restaurant facility. A portion of the existing building was demolished to facilitate a drive-thru lane.
